The Green Kids

"The Green" first stage
There is going to be a very green spring ahead, said one green masked kid in green costume.
Sparkles filled the air as the marchers walked along, clapping and cheerfully chanting patriotic songs. There was a uniquely vibrant motion and high spirit in the crowd. The marchers were in sustained animation in the end, as if all went to a deep asleep. It was the night after the kids had placed their votes into the ballot box. The scene was a dark green leading its way into complete black...

"The RED" second stage:
The morning finally came and the green kids saw in shock that all their tiny sprouts had been stepped on and all their green flowers destroyed. Why??? They asked and looked around for clues.
What was it that didn't want them to be happy? Why didn't the black power ever apologize?
Nobody knew for sure who the black power was.
The green kids fought a difficult battle with the black power, day and night. It was long and extraordinary.

"The White" third and final stage
In the end many red tulips grew on the grave stones of the fallen angels and white peace followed. Tens of white doves were flown away and many beautiful green fairies and elves danced, played musical tunes, and whispered happy songs.

"Additional" note:
The flag of Iran is green, white, and red.

  1. In the books of non violent opposition movements, there should be a chapter on green opposition of Iran.

How to be green for support of Iran:
Go outdoors and collect green sprouted wheats and wild flowers!
Start shopping for green herbs and vegetables.
Plant new trees and seasonal flowers.
Eat green salads, drink green tea or green smoothies, and once in a while serve green ice cream with pistachios.
Wear green clothes, jewelry, ties, bows, shoes, purses, watches, nail polish and other accessories.
Plan green and glittery masked balls for all occasions even kids' birthdays.
Serve a very green dinner table with dazzling detail everyday.
Order green balloons and pale mint cake for birthdays.
Purchase green wrist bands and wear them on special rally days and anniversaries; give extra wrist bands to others.
    Color eggs green for Easter.
Read "green eggs and ham" or other favorite books to children.
Spend time with family, friends, and loved ones and remember the people who don't have the very basic rights and freedom that are often taken for granted.
Green freedom and peace be upon the world!
